Driving with active headlights in daytime will reduce traffic accidents by 20% - MIA
Astana. January 6. KazTAG - The regulation obliging Kazakhstani drivers to switch on headlights in the daytime will reduce the number of traffic accidents by 20%, said Kaisar Sultanbayev, head of department of administrative police committee of MIA.
"In the time of the draft law development we learnt the world experience in terms of traffic security. You know, the Republic of Kazakhstan ratified the international traffic convention. In the results of this research we realized the number of traffic accidents reduced by 20% in some states under activated dipped headlights," he said.
He reminded the drivers violating the law will be fined 5 MCI.
