Drug dealer sentenced 12 years imprisonment for sending drugs to prison

Almaty. November 18. KazTAG - The specialized interdistrict court on criminal cases of West Kazakhstan region has sentenced a drug dealer 12 years imprisonment who transported heroin via "Kazpost," reports the regional court.
"Oleg Maksimov has been adjudged guilty by the specialized interidtrict court on criminal cases of committing the crime stipulated by the article 259 part 3 point v (illegal production, processing, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of drugs and psychotropic substances), he has been sentenced 12 years imprisonment with property confiscation in a high security penal colony," reads the message.
Maksimov, resident of Uralsk, went to Temirtau where he acquired 717.53 gr of heroin. With the aim of further sale he sent the drugs via "Kazpost" department to his name in Uralsk.
The detainee received the parcel at "Kazpost" department in Uralsk, he was detained at the parking lot.
