EDB expects Kazakhstan's GDP growth rate to increase to 5.5% in 2025

Almaty. December 6. KazTAG –EDB expects Kazakhstan's GDP growth rate to increase to 5.5% in 2025, said Aigul Berdigulova, Senior Analyst at the Country Analysis Center of the Directorate for Analytical Work of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).
" We expect Kazakhstan's GDP growth rate to increase to 5.5%," Berdigulova said, presenting the "Macroeconomic Forecast 2025-2027”.
According to her, the prerequisite for the forecast is the implementation of government initiatives aimed at developing the regions, as well as implementing the infrastructure development plan. Additionally, in support of the economy, the Tengiz field will be commissioned, which will increase oil production and exports.
