Eight people detained on suspicion of illegal collection of gold ore stones in Zhambyl region

Almaty. August 13. KazTAG - Eight people have been detained on suspicion of collection of gold ore stones in the Zhambyl region, reports the regional police department.
"The message was reported about people collecting gold containing stones on July 27. The men were travelling by three UAZ vehicles. Police withdrew four bags of ore stones containing precious metals. Eight suspects have been detained. Forensic chemical expertise has been assigned," reads the message.
