The Soviet reusable spacecraft "Buran" was sent on its only flight from this site in 1988.
“At present, the Russian Administration at the Baikonur complex is carrying out the investigation. All the circumstances, as well as the persons involved in the incident, will be established during the investigation, ” reads the report.
