Eurasian Logistics Park under construction in Talgar District

Almaty. June 13. KazTAG — Eurasian Logistics Park is being built in Talgar District, reports the press service of the Almaty Region Akimat.
“A large-scale investment project is being implemented in the eastern part of Talgar District, on the territory of Panfilov Rural District — the construction of Eurasian Logistics Park, which in the future will become a key international logistics hub. The area of the complex will make over 13 hectares, while the total area of Class A warehouses will be about 50 thousand square meters, which is equivalent to ten indoor football fields,” reads the report.
According to the data, the project is aimed at reducing the logistics burden on the city of Almaty, optimizing and accelerating the flow of goods, as well as developing the transport infrastructure of the republican level.
According to Roman Zhuzhlev, Executive Director of Eurasian Logistics Park LLP, the project is a response to the acute shortage of warehouse space in Almaty, which already exceeds 700 thousand square meters. In addition, this facility will become an important element in fulfilling the tasks envisaged by the National Development Plan until 2029.
