Ex akim of Turkestan region appointed as deputy chairman of the Assembly of Kazakhstan's People

Astana. March 1. KazTAG - Zhanseit Tuimebayev, ex akim of the Turkestan region, has been appointed as a deputy chairman of the Assembly of Kazakhstan's People, Akorda reports.
"Zhanseit Tuimebayev has been appointed as a deputy chairman of the Assembly of Kazakhstan's People, head of secretariat of the Assembly of Kazakhstan's People of the Presidential Office," reads the message.
"By the order of the head of state Leonid Prokopenko has been relieved of the post of deputy chairman of the Assembly of Kazakhstan's People, head of secretariat of the Assembly of Kazakhstan's People due to transfer to a new work place".
As it was reported, Zh. Tuimebayev was relieved of the post of akim of the Turkestan region on February 26. On the same day, the President appointed Umirzak Shukeyev on the post.
Zh. Tuimebayev was appointed as an akim of the Turkestan region on June 20 2018.
