Ex Foreign Minister taking lead in Presidential elections in Afghanistan
Almaty. April 21. KazTAG - Abdulla Abdulla, ex Minister of Foreign Affairs, is taking lead in the presidential elections in Afghanistan, reports rbc.ru.
"Ex head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Abdulla is taking lead in the Presidential elections in Afghanistan," reads the message.
According to the preliminary data declared by the independent electoral commission A. Abdulla received 44.4% of votes. Then follows Adhraf Gani Akhmadzay, ex Minister of Finance, with 33.2% of votes.
Only 50% of votes from 34 provinces have been counted.
