Ex honorary consular of Slovakia to Kazakhstan found dead in Spanish Alicante - mass media

Almaty. January 16. KazTAG - Marat Sabalakov, ex honorary consular of Slovakia to Kazakhstan, has been found dead in the Spanish city of Alicante, said the Spanish mass media sources.
"The civil guard is investigating death of ex honorary consular of Kazakhstan to Slovakia, Marat Sabalakov, aged 53, native of Almaty, who was found dead in the garden of Villa de la Nusia in Alicante which he rented," said El Dia.
The lifeless body of the ex-consul was discovered late Tuesday night by a gardener serving the Miramar de la Nusia quarter.
“According to sources, the lifeless body of Marat Sabalakov, who left the post of consul several years ago, lay face down at the bottom of the stairs leading from the garden to the house, so one of the versions considered was that it was an accident and that the former consul (...) died as a result of an accidental fall, ”the newspaper reports.
Nevertheless, the position of the body and the traces of a strong blow to the back of the head, as well as the fact that the traces of blood were not only close to the body, but also inside the house, suggest that this could have been a murder.
Later another Spanish publication - Levante - reported that Sabalakov died of natural causes as a result of multiple organ failure caused by his chronic illness.
