Exports of processed goods from Kazakhstan to Russia and Belarus increased by 10% since CU creation
Astana . May 12. KazTAG - The exports of processed goods of domestic production to Russia and Belarus increased by 10% since creation of the Customs Union, said Yernar Bakenov, director of department of international economic integration of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning.
"Exports of processed goods produced in Kazakhstan to the Customs Union countries increased by 10 %," he said.
The commodity circulation of Kazakhstan with other CU member states increased by 88% to $24 since CU was launched.
"... Export of Kazakhstani goods increased by 60% in the same period, while the share of exports of processed goods by Kazakhstan increased from 44 % to 54% ," he said.
He noted that Kazakhstan mainly exports " pipes, metal profiles , freight tonnage vehicles whose exports increased by 15 times , as well as confectionaries ."
He added the motor vehicles production in Kazakhstan increased by 24 times and reached "more than 40 thousand units of various vehicles”.
