Facebook to be required to identify comments violating the law
Almaty. June 4. KazTAG - Facebook may be required to identify user comments that violate applicable laws, reports Reuters.
"On Tuesday, an adviser to the EU Supreme Court stated that the social network Facebook could be ordered to reveal on its platform all the content similar to that found illegal by a court decision," - the statement reads.
At the same time, it is noted that the opinion of the general lawyer Machea Shpunar does not say whether Facebook is obliged to delete controversial comments.
Reportedly, the opinion of the adviser is not binding for the EU judges, but, as a rule, they adhere to them in their practice.
