Fares for National Park visit lowered in Almaty
Almaty. January 22. KazTAG - The fares for stay in the Ile-Alatau state national natural park have been lowered, reports the prosecutor's office of Almaty.
"The specialized nature preservation prosecutor's office of Almaty has analyzed the activity of Ile-Alatau state national nature park in terms of compliance in the field of nature preservation and tax legislation. As a result the overpricing facts have been revealed for the stay in the National park and non-compliance with the limit of users of touristic route," reads the message.
"By the order of the authorities of the National Park dated July 1 2018 the tariffs for use of touristic routes were fixed at the level of 200 tenge per person, with the limitations on the number of users and seasonal period (June-October). The National Park was charging 452 tenge from the visitors without limits, while not all the persons used the touristic routes but visited cafes and restaurants," said the report.
According to the new order the fares for stay at the territory of the National Park was lowered from 452 to 252 tenge.
