Financial control committee investigating lethal cases caused by medicines in Aktobe
Astana. April 9. KazTAG - The committee of control of medical and pharmaceutical activity is investigating the lethal cases caused by medicines in Aktobe.
"A special commission jointly with independent experts, clinicians, pharmacologists and forensic pathologists has been investigating the case since April 4 2014," reads the message.
The medicines consignment has been withdrawn and directed for expertise to a special lab of the national center of medicines expertise.
As reported, three residents of Aktobe died after getting prophylactic medicine droppers in the city policlinics N3, another patient is in hospital.
According to the relatives and friends, the doctor, the women had applied to, prescribed treatment in the day in-patient clinic, the doctor prescribed: vinposan, piratsetam and aktobegin. They all got the medicines almost simultaneously. On March 19 the women felt bad. 85 year old patient died on March 22. Two others, aged 75 and 53- died on the next day. Another 63 year old patient spent several days in the intensive care.
