Fines to more than 1.6 bn tenge issued in January-October following sanitary-epidemiological inspections

Astana. November 14. KazTAG - Fines to more than 1.6 bn tenge have been issued following a sanitary-epidemiological checks in January-October in Kazakhstan, said Ludmila Burabekova, chairfigure of the committee for control of quality and safety of goods and services of the Health Care Ministry of Kazakhstan.
"28 336 objects have been checked by the results of 10 months - 67% of the plan. By the results of the checks 20 000 fines have been issued to 1.621 bn tenge," she said.
"Many violations concerned sanitary epidemiological regime and technical regulations," she said.
289 objects of medicines and medical goods have been checked, 76% of the plan. Fines to 38.6 mln tenge have been issued to 416 objects.
