According to Vladimir Bekker, chairman of the committee for emergency situations, there is no reason for concern, the situation is under control.
"Social networks posted the information about missing people. It is false. Yes, first people could not get in touch with their relatives, parents were losing children, now they all have been found. There was information about possible explosions or water injection from reservoirs. Reservoirs operate in the routine mode, there is no plan to use water from them," he said.
According to Zhandarbek Bekshin, chairman of committee of public health care- chief state sanitary doctor, there is no radiation in Arys.
"Specialists will conduct disinfection in the town. Public places, rubbish containers, objects will be cleaned. We will control the work of sewage system. Specialists are working on the scene. Epidemiological background is safe in Arys," he said.
