First groups of Kazakhstani pilgrims arrived for hadj in Saudi Arabia

Astana. July 31. KazTAG - The first groups of Kazakhstani pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The representatives of the consulate to Kazakhstan in Jidda met the first two groups of 198 pilgrims from Kazakhstan arriving from Shymkent and Aktau on July 30. Totally the quota will cover 3200 pilgrims from Kazakhstan," reads the report.
According to Kazakhstani diplomats, the majority of pilgrims will arrive on August 9-13.
"This year SCAT and FlyNas provide the transportation services to Jidda and Medina from Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent and Aktau. The pilgrims from Kazakhstan will be arriving in Saudi Arabia from July 30 till August 5, and depart from August 17 until August 23," reads the message.
