Five children killed and 83 injured in traffic accidents in Nur-Sultan since January
Astana. October 18. KazTAG - Five children have been killed and 83 have been injured in the traffic accidents in Nur-Sultan since the beginning of the year, said Nurlan Uvayev, deputy head of administrative police department of Nur-Sultan.
"82 traffic accidents involving children have occurred since the beginning of the year, five children have died and 83 have been injured," said Uvaliyev.
In his words, the number of traffic accidents in the capital has grown up from 265 to 421 since January. The number of casualties and victims has also increased.
"The number of victims has increased by nine, casualties by two," he said.
He added the accidents involving children did not occur in the schools' quarters.
