Five people injured in armed incident at Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border
Almaty. July 23. KazTAG - Five people have been injured in the armed incident on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, reports KyrTAG.
"There was a conflict between the citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on July 22 2019 at 16.20. The conflict started after the inhabitants of Voruh village (Tajikistan) installed a flagpole on the entry in the village. The inhabitants of Aksay village opposed its installation, the conflict resulted in use of hunting rifle by one side," said the border service.
Five people have been injured.
"The motorway Isfara-Voruh has been closed. Border departments are working on the scene," reads the message.
