Floods destructed 170 houses in Tajikistan, two children died
Almaty. April 17. KazTAG - Floods have destructed 170 houses in Tajikistan killing two people, reports the Tajikistan Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
According to the department of emergency situations and civil defense the floods started on Wednesday in Hurosonsk district (70 km south from Dushanbe).
"The mudslides caused by showers covered Kizilkala settlement in the afternoon destructing 170 houses," reads the message.
Two children aged 2 and 5 have died.
A group of rescuers is working on the scene.
