“To date, the Health Department of the West Kazakhstan region has purchased 67 thousand doses of influenza vaccines. An additional application has been submitted for the purchase of influenza vaccine from the saved funds of the local budget in the amount of 59 500 doses for T51.6 million. These measures will allow covering 20% of the population with influenza vaccination," reads the report.
Vaccination for influenza of vulnerable groups of people is carried out from September 15 to October 15.
