For the first time since 1979 women allowed to football stadium in Iran

Almaty. June 21. KazTAG - For the first time since 1979 women have been allowed to the football stadium, reports Izvestiya newspaper.
"Women have been allowed to the sports arena for the first time since 1979 so that they could see the broadcasting of the match of the national football team at the World Cup in Iran. Over 10 000 males and females watched the game of Iran and Spain (0:1)," reads the message.
Meanwhile, Islamic prophets are against attendance of football matches by women saying women must be protected from aggressive male atmosphere at the stadiums.
