Foreign investments made up more than 400 bln tenge into Kazakhstani special economic zones in past 5 years - Dosayev

Astana. May 4. KazTAG - 428 bln tenge of foreign investments came to the special economic zones in the past five years in Kazakhstan, said Yerbolat Dosayev, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning.

"10 special economic zones have been created in Kazakhstan involving 492 participants. In the past five years 428 bln tenge of foreign investments came to the special economic zones which are aimed to create industries at the territories of SEZ," he said.

He reminded a branch program for investments attraction is being implemented in Kazakhstan to improve investment attractiveness of the state.

Special economic zones have been created within the frameworks of this program.
