Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Agriculture to enhance coordination of work on investment and export directions

Astana. January 18. KazTAG - The questions  of promotion of agricultural products export and investments attraction in the agricultural field of the economy have been discussed by Umirzak Shukeyev, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Agriculture and Beibit Atamkulov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, MFA reports.
"The parties have discussed the issues of strengthening of interaction within the frameworks of state program performance of agricultural complex development in Kazakhstan in 2017-2021," reads the message.
The parties have considered performance of a joint plan between the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Agriculture concerning attraction of foreign investments in the agricultural complex of Kazakhstan and development of trade until 2020. The parties resolved to accumulate arrangements in connection with enhancement of activity of Foreign Ministry in the investment and export directions.
"The parties indicated performance of investment projects in the agricultural branch, including development of plants breeding, assembly of agricultural techniques and equipment, attraction of transnational companies into production and processing of milk, dairy products and meat," reads the report.
