Forest inspector killed in the Akmola region
Astana. July 24. KazTAG - The murderers of Kanysh Nurtazinov, gamekeeper from the Akmola region, are being searched with the help of three helicopters in three regions, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
"Operational search arrangements are underway in the Akmola, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions, additional police posts have been put up. In connection with the remoteness of the scene, helicopters were involved in the search operation," reads the statement.
The Interior Ministry said the investigation of the crime is under control of the administration of the department.
“On behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs Yerlan Turgumbayev, a group of central office staff headed by the deputy head of department of the criminal police was sent to the Akmola region to uncover the attack on the inspectors of the Central Regional Branch of the State Enterprise Okhotzooprom,” said the statement.
On July 23, at around 11:00, inspectors of the Central Regional Branch of the State Enterprise Okhotzooprom of the Akmola in the time arrangements to detect and prevent violations of environmental legislation in the territory of Zharkainsky district of the Akmola region revealed the fact of shooting saigas. During the pursuit of a white Niva car, the violators started shooting, as a result two gamekeepers Nurtazinov and Samat Spanov were wounded. Nurtazinov died before arriving to hospital.
