Fuel deficit is possible after modernization of Kazakhstani refineries- Nazarbayeva
Astana. November 6. KazTAG - Dariga Nazarbayeva, Vice Speaker of Majilis, believes that modernization of the refineries in Kazakhstan is just a respite of repetition of problems with fuel deficit.
"The problem needs solution on a high system level. Here can be two decisions. We should find optimal market mechanisms to regulate this issue when they will be beneficial for all the players on the market, not only manufacturers, businessmen, sellers, but also clients, consumers, who consume these products. Or we should introduce tough control on the state level on this process," she said.
She added that tough strict control "is not the best solution". "State control is not a panacea against abuse and other negative things," she said.
In her words there have been big hopes in connection with modernization of three refineries in Kazakhstan adding that fuel demand will be growing every year among drivers and for agricultural needs.
