Gas processing plant improved ecology of Aktobe region
Astana. August 26. KazTAG - The gas processing plant has improved the ecology of the Aktobe region, reports the press service of KazTransGas JSC (KTG).
“As part of a working trip to the Aktobe region, Prime Minister Askar Mamin has visited a plant for utilization and processing of associated petroleum gas from the Kozhasay field. It has been operating for less than a year, but has already improved environmental situation in the region," said the message.
The project for construction of gas processing plant was implemented with investment of the funds allocated by the Gas Processing Company. The plant was commissioned in December 2018.
The Prime Minister checked the work of the plant, use of technological equipment and application of digital solutions in production.
The capacity of the enterprise is 400 million cubic meters of marketable gas per year. The plant supplies purified gas, condensate and granular sulfur to the domestic market, and also exports to foreign states.
“The plant rationally uses the raw material base, increased the processing of associated petroleum gas and stopped emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere," said the message.
