General structure of goods import from Russia and Belarus remained unchanged since CU foundation
Astana. April 18. KazTAG - The volume and structure of goods import from Russia and Belarus to Kazakhstan remained unchanged since the moment of the Customs Union creation, said Aigul Konyrtayeva, deputy director of department of state purchases and local consistence of the national business chamber.
"The first boom of import to the CU states was in 2010 when we created the Customs Union. If to analyze the goods structure, the positions of import from Russia and Belarus to Kazakhstani market have not changed. Thus, we cannot talk about sharp increase of presence of Russian and Belarus suppliers in the state purchases of Kazakhstan," she said.
In her words, "today we are interesting for Russia and Belarus, first of all, as consumers of industrial goods, it is consumables for mining, oil and gas and agricultural goods".
