Global number of people infected with COVID-19 exceeded 21 million

Almaty. August 14. KazTAG - The number of people infected with coronavirus infection in the world has exceeded 21 million.
According to  website worldometers.info,  21 080 340 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed globally, the virus has claimed 753 467 lives and 13 911 408 people have recovered.
The United States is on the first place on the incidence rate (5 415 666 cases, 170 415 deaths), in second place is Brazil (3,229,621, 105,564), in third place is India (2,459,613, 48,144), in fourth - Russia (907 758, 15 384),  the fifth - South Africa (572 865, 11 270), the sixth - Mexico (505 751, 55 293),  the seventh - Peru (498 555, 21 713), the eighth - Colombia (433 805, 14 145),  the ninth - Chile (380 034, 10 299), the tenth - Spain (379 799, 28 605).
Kazakhstan is on the 26th place on the list (compared to July 27) with 101 848 (data for August 8) infected with coronavirus and 1269 deaths, located between Qatar (114 281, 190) and Egypt (98 343, 6010 ).
China with 84 786 infected and 4634 deaths dropped to 32nd place.
