Government plans to reconsider macroeconomic prognosis by result of Q1
Astana. April 16. KazTAG - Kazakhstani Governments plans to reconsider macroeconomic prognosis by the results of the first quarter due to the situation with the sanctions against Russia and Kashagan problems, said Kairat Kelimbetov, chairman of the National Bank.
"We see certain sanctions against our main economic partner- Russia- the growth will be zero there. That is one problem ... The first stage of Kashagan development is being delayed. However, the measures taken by the Government- it is a trillion tenge allocation, and possible allocation of pension funds to support banking system- in my opinion, will keep high growth rates. In the near future the Government will reconsider macroeconomic prognosis and we will present our views," he said.
