Growth of grain crops production will make up 40% until 2021 - FAO

Astana. April 22. KazTAG - According to the Food Agricultural Organization, the growth of grain crops production will make up 40% until 2021 in Kazakhstan, reports "KazAgro" national managing holding in its analytical review of the grain market.

"According to the prognosis of Food and Agricultural Organization of the UN, the global growth of wheat production will make up 11% until 2021. Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine will increase grain production  by 40%, 20%, 28% correspondingly," reads the message.

The main types of grain crops at the world market is wheat, barley, oats, corn, rice, buckwheat and pea. "The forecasted growth of global production of coarse grain crops in the mid term perspective will make up about 20% - to 1.4 bln tons. Including, in Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine the growth will make up 22%, 14% and 23% correspondingly," reads the report.
