Half of all Internet parcels came from China in 2013
Astana. April 30. KazTAG - Half of all the Internet parcels came from China in 2013 to Kazakhstan, said Murat Zharilkaganov, deputy chair of Kazpost.
"We have been analyzing the flow of mailing units to Kazakhstan, especially Internet parcels, the growth made up almost 80% in 2013 against 2012. What has dramatically changed? In 2012 the share of Russia, which dispatches to Kazakhstan was 50%, while of China it was only 15%, in 2013 everything changed : the share of China made up 50%, Russia- less than 30%," he said at the briefing in the central communications service under the President.
According to Askhat Beisenbayev, chair of Kazpost, the tendency is obvious, the volume of paper mailing has been falling, while electronic commerce has been growing.
