Almaty. November 6. KazTAG - Halyk Bank plans to place 10 years bond to 100 bln tenge in mid November, said Umut Shayakhmetova, head of Halyk Bank.
"Halyk Bank has registered issue of 10 years unsecured bonds to 100 bln tenge, which has been assigned Baa3 rating by the Moody's Investors Service and BB (EXP) by the Fitch Ratings. We plan to place these securities at the stock exchange market in mid November," she said.
In her words in the process of planned issue and placement of bonds the National Bank "has solved the issue that the pension assets may be invested into corporate bonds , which, taking in account possible risks and possibilities, represent more transparent and liquid investment tool.
She added that "positive attitude of the National Bank to solution of this issue shows aspiration of the regulator to revive the domestic securities market".
