Head appointed in Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan
Astana. August 2. KazTAG - Former director general for civil aviation at UK Department for Transport has been appointed as a head of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.
"Peter Griffith has been appointed as a director-general of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan," reads the message of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
According to the report, "Griffith has rich work experience in the civil aviation branch".
"He led the UK department for civil aviation at the Ministry of Transport, controlled operation of the British civil aviation agency. He was a director for flights security and aviation security in EasyJet Luton. He headed the project for launching a new low-cost company Nas Air (Flynas) in Saudi Arabia. He worked as a captain of Airbus 320 and Boeing 737. In different years he was taking managerial posts in the European Commission, worked as IATA vice president," reads the report.
