Head of Center for Medical and Social Protection of People convicted in Almaty
Almaty. January 9. KazTAG - Dilnar Insenova, head of the Center for Medical and Social Protection of Population, has been convicted in Almaty.
"The court has declared D. Insenov guilty under paragraph 3 of part 2 of article 189 (misappropriation or embezzlement of entrusted property) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and imposed a penalty for restriction of freedom for two years," said Yerhan Jotybay, judge of Auezov district court.
The court also forbade the convicted person to engage in social activities for two years.
Probation control will be imposed in respect of D. Insenova.
Insenova pleaded guilty in court.
“The Government gave me two minimum salaries. With this money, I paid the taxes and the rent of premises, some I left for myself, and I gave to disabled people from 10 thousand to 30 thousand tenge from two minimum salaries. I was provided with this money for the fact that I hired people with disabilities. I admit it, I did it, not by deception, but under the agreement with them. I just thought that it would be easier for everyone and admitted the guilt," she said.
According to her, employees began to deny the fact that they received salaries.
“They say they got them, but they don't say the right amount. The amount of damage is calculated from all the money that is transferred, although I paid taxes to 500 thousand tenge from this sum, they did not deduct anything at all, and the money they received was also not deducted," she said.
Before the sentence was passed, the defendant paid the entire amount of the damage caused, in the amount of 2.07 mln tenge. There were five people with disabilities registered in the fund.
