"Nurlan Sadykov, head of the culture department, was arrested on Monday on suspicion of bribe taking. Last year he was appointed to this post. The bribe was within 10-11 mln tenge," said a source.
The administration of Nur-Sultan has not commented on the information and advised applying to the agency for corruption combat.

The press-service of the court of Nur-Sultan said "the files of pretrial investigation are classified. They can be made public only under the permit of the prosecutor," said Botagoz Bayanova, spokesperson of the court.
