Head of farmers' union of Kazakhstan detained on suspicion of sexual abuse
Astana. February 14. KazTAG - Auezkhan Darinov, chairman of the Republican public union "Union of farmers of Kazakhstan" has been detained on suspicion of sexual abuse.
"Police detained Auezkhan Darinov, chairman of the Union of Farmers of Kazakhstan, on February 11. He was detained in the evening in the office of the union (Astana, Moscovskaya 18), after a working session for preparation to the assembly where he is supposed to raise serious strategic issues of development of the field. However, A. Darinov has been charged with sexual abuse," reads the message of the union.
The Union of farmers of Kazakhstan is a wide discussion ground covering the hot issues in the field.
"Thus, it has been decided to conduct the session despite absence of the first head, and give powers to Umerzakov Zh., deputy chairman of the union. It was decided to inform society about detention of Darinov," reads the message.
