Head of French company Total died in air crash in Vnukovo airport
Almaty. October 21. KazTAG - Christophe de Margerie, head of French company Total, has died in the air crash in Vnukovo airport, reports the Russian service BBC.
"The press-service of ""Vnukovo" airport confirmed that 63 year old head of board of the biggest French oil company Total Christophe de Margerie was aboard Falcon-50 light aircraft which crashed while taking off," reads the publication.
According to preliminary data there were four people aboard- a passenger and three crew members.
The cause of the accident was collision with snow fighting vehicle which turned out to be on the runway due to unknown reasons.
Alexander Neredko, head of Rosaviation, has headed the commission for the accident investigation.
According to the message all the deceased people were the citizens of France.
