Helicopter evacuated six Russian tourists from Bogatyr glacier
Almaty. August 9. KazTAG - Helicopter has evacuated six Russian tourists from the Bogatyr glacier in the Talgar gorge, said Nursultan Nurakhmetov, official representative of the emergency situations committee, MIA.
Six Russian tourists went on a hiking trip in the Left Talgar gorge. The rescuers have been reported that one tourist suffered a trauma and could not move.
Prior to the trip the group of tourists had registered in the Republican Rescue Committee and reported their route. It would take two days to get to the scene for the rescuers; subsequently, a helicopter of Kazaviaspas was involved in the rescue operation. All the tourists have been evacuated; the injured man has been taken to hospital.
The tourist has suffered a concussion and shoulder joint dislocation after falling on the ice.
