Houses and schools damaged by quake in Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. November 14. KazTAG - Cracks appeared in the walls of houses and schools in Kadamzhaisk district of Batkensk region in Kyrgyzstan in the result of earthquake, reports the KyrTAG news agency.
"Cracks appeared in the houses and schools in the result of quake which hit this morning in Kadamzhaisk district. Commission is inspecting the houses and schools," reads the message of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Two quakes stroke this morning at 7.24 and at 8.00 am. The first quake, according to Kyrgyz seismologists, was about 7 points in the epicenter (nearby Kadzhi-Say village in Issyk-Kul region. The magnitude was 5-6 points in Bokonbayevo village.
The shocks were 2-3 points in Bishkek.
