Housing renovation program approved in Almaty until 2030: 7.5 thousand people will be resettled

Almaty. December 2. KazTAG – The Maslikhat of Almaty adopted a housing renovation program until 2030. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to resettle about 7.5 thousand owners from 676 dilapidated houses to modern apartments, reports the press service of the Akim of Almaty.
“The Maslikhat of Almaty adopted the “Housing renovation program of Almaty until 2030”, the purpose of which is to improve the living conditions of city residents, renew the urban environment and prevent an increase in dilapidated housing stock. By 2030, it is planned to renovate at least 676 dilapidated buildings, which will allow about 7.5 thousand owners to be relocated to modern, well-appointed apartments,” reads the report.
