IMF increased prognosis of Uzbekistan GDP to 7% in 2014
Tashkent. April 30. KazTAG - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) increased the prognosis of GDP growth in Uzbekistan to 7% in 2014 against 6.5% reported in October 2013, reads the IMF report "Prospects of world economy development".
According to the fund the growth of Uzbekistan GDP will make up 6.5% in 2015.
IMF also increased inflation prognosis in the country to 11% in 2014 and 2015. Earlier the fund's experts forecasted prices growth in Uzbekistan at 10.4% in 2014. Inflation level made up 11.2% in Uzbekistan in 2013.
The balance of current account made up 2.2% to GDP against 1.7% in 2013. In 2015 this level will reach 1.9%.
The Government of Uzbekistan forecasts GDP growth at 8.1% in 2014 against 8% in 2013.
