After the Verkhovna Rada declared the election results, Vladimir Zelensky was sworn in and officially announced a newly elected President of Ukraine for a five-year term.
The ceremony of swearing was broadcast live on Ukrainian TV channels and information portals.
Recall, the second round of the presidential election was held in Ukraine on April 21, following which Vladimir Zelensky scored 73.22% of the vote (13,541,528 voters), the current president, Petro Poroshenko scored 24.45% (4,522,450 voters).
Kazakhstan was presented by the delegation led by the Vice Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Bektas Beknazarov.
