Increase in the period between administration of coronavirus vaccine applies only to "Sputnik V" - Tsoi

Astana. May 6. KazTAG - The increase in the period between the administration of the first and second doses of the vaccine against coronavirus applies only to "Sputnik V", said Alexei Tsoi, Minister of Health of Kazakhstan.
“At the moment, we do not have such conclusions, because we did it only with the Sputnik V vaccine, because we received a letter of clarification from the developer. No such data has been received from QazVac, so we will work in general mode with it, ” he said.
At the same time, he noted that the second dose of the Sputnik V vaccine can be received in 21 days.
“If you want to get the vaccine on the 21st day, you just come to the clinic at your place of residence or to the vaccination point where you received the first dose and you can come a few days in advance, leave a request for a second dose and you will certainly be accepted,” he added.
