Indian citizens expelled from Kazakhstan for illegal border crossing

Astana. September 27. KazTAG – Indian citizens were expelled from Kazakhstan for illegally crossing the border, reports the press service of the Zhelezinsky District Court of Pavlodar Region.
“By a court ruling, three Indian citizens were found guilty of committing an offense under part two of Article 514 of the Code of Administrative Offences, with a penalty of administrative deportation from the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement said.
On September 5, three Indian citizens tried to illegally cross the border from Kazakhstan into the territory of Russia, bypassing the established checkpoints
“The Indian citizens fully admitted their guilt and explained that they came to Kazakhstan from the United Arab Emirates, then intended to go to Europe. In addition, during the court hearing, Indian citizens received a petition for deportation from the Republic of Kazakhstan due to the fact that they were unable to pay the fine,” the court said.
