Interior minister commented on mirror theft from Balandin's car
Astana. April 2. KazTAG - Yerlan Turgumbayev, minister of interior affairs, has commented on the theft of mirrors from the car of Kazakhstani Olympic champ Dmitriy Balandin.
"Crimes are committed throughout the world. There are no crime free states, and I am against comparisons that the crime happened in respect of the Olympic champ and in a certain place (the mirror was stole in the same place where the tragedy occurred with Denis Ten- KazTAG). It is a coincidence, it is a city center and there are many parking places there," he said on the sidelines of the Government.
In his words, due to the video control system and efficient work of police officers the crime has been discovered and the criminal has been arrested.
"I think it is due to positive, good work of police. Today we are holding raids in the trade points selling side mirrors. Almost all the illegal markets have been closed. Our officers are watching second hand trade, purchase of stolen property. This case was an exception," he added.
