Investigation of May incident at Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border to be discussed in Dushanbe
Almaty. May 12. KazTAG - The incident which happened at the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on May 7 will be discussed in Dushanbe on May 12, reports the KyrTAG news agency.
"A joint session of Governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on delimitation and demarcation of Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan state border will be held in Dushanbe on May 12," reads the message.
Kyrgyzstan delegation will be headed by Abdyrakhman Mamataliyev, Deputy Prime Minister.
"The parties plan to discuss a range of issues concerning the work of groups concerning delimitation and demarcation of state border, the situation at the border areas and investigation of the accident which happened on May 7 in Batkensk district in Kyrgyzstan," reads the message.
As reported, citizens of two states had clashes throwing stones into each other on May 7 on the road Votuh-Isphara running through Ak-Say, Kok-Tash, Orto-Boz villages to Tajikistan.
Tajikistancitizens set a refueling station, two KamAZ vehicles and three pavilions in Orto-Boz village on fire which belonged to the citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
10 Kyrgyzstan citizens and 30 citizens of Tajikistan suffered in the clashes.
