Iran does not plan to reduce oil production independently from OPEC solution
Almaty. November 27. KazTAG - Iran will not reduce oil production independently from the solution taken by oil exporters - OPEC members, reports the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG).
He added it is important for the states producing oil which are not members of the international cartel, to take measures to achieve balance between demand and proposal at the world oil trade grounds.
"There should be contribution from the side of producers- non members of OPEC in order to control the situation at the market," said Bijan Namdar Zangane, Minister of Oil of Iran who arrived to Austrian capital to take part in the 166th OPEC ministerial session.
At the same time Zangane indicated the necessity to develop a uniform approach on this issue within the frameworks of OPEC.
According to the reported data last month Iran produced 2.83 mln barrels of oil a day. It is much lower the volume produced in 2011 when the country extracted 3.6 mln barrels a day.
