Iran has no plan to call extraordinary OPEC session due to fall of oil prices
Almaty. January 20. KazTAG - Iran does not plan to call the extraordinary OPEC session due to fall of oil price, reports rbc.ru with a reference to Bijan Zanganeh, Minister of Oil of Iran.
"Iran has no plans to call extraordinary OPEC session to discuss the prices," the publication cites the Minister.
Zanganeh declared that consultations with other organizations of oil exporters are supposed to stop further fall of oil prices.
He called the OPEC members to expanded cooperation to balance the market and provide wise oil price for investors and manufacturers.
The Minister indicated that Iranian budget has been formed on the base of $72 barrel price, however, the country will be able to withstand prices fall. "Even if the price falls to $25 per barrel there won't be any threat to oil industry," he said.
