Iran ready to create organization on nuclear projects security with neighboring states
Almaty. February 2. KazTAG - Iran is ready to create a regional organization on nuclear objects security, report Russian mass media sources.
According to Ali Akbar Salehi, Vice President of Iran, head of organization on atomic energy of Iran, the regional union will control the activity of atomic energy stations of Iran and other states of Near East and Persian Gulf preventing possible destructive consequences coming from radiation for the environment, reports the IRNA news agency.
The proposal was made on the background of planned construction of atomic power stations by many neighboring states. IRNA reported about the planned construction of 4 atomic power stations by the United Arabic Emirates.
Ali Akbar Salehi also expressed readiness "to negotiate the issues concerning radiation security with the neighboring states".
"The Iranian side is also interested to share the data about ecological questions with the neighboring states to take measures to lower possible damage caused by radiation," he added.
