Iran suspended export of electric power to Iraq

Almaty. July 16. KazTAG - The authorities of Iran have decided to suspend export of electric power to the neighboring states, including Iraq, reports TASS.
"We reduced the supply of water and electricity to zero to Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, " reports Shafaq News quoting Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian.
According to him,  this step followed energy and water crisis that Iran is experiencing.
According to the regional experts, Tehran's decision could lead to aggravation of the situation in the southern provinces of Iraq.
